So here it is: a new article by Linnéa J Lundblad in the Världens gång section of Göteborgs-Posten. Big thanks to my homegirl Annie who scanned the whole thing and pasted the two parts (it was THAT big!) into one and e-mailed it to me. No, I don’t like my new byline picture – of course I think I look fat [I wouldn’t be a girl if I didn’t, right?] – at the time when the photographer asked me to strike this pose, I kept thinking “oh God don’t let them make me look this… perky” in the back of my head. I’d want to look cute and sweet, but with a subtle sexiness about me. This picture screams “I’m a grad student and I can’t get laid” – which is basically what this text is about… hum. Enough said, I suppose.
Do you live in Sweden? Or do you read Swedish? Do you want to help keep me in business – every crown I earn with these monthly articles is going to my trip to Russia this summer – then I suggest you send a letter to my editor at Göteborgs-Posten and tell him how awesome you think am I and how much you’re looking forward to the next one! Jag tyckte att din artikel var lysande! Din humor lyser igenom orden och får mig att skratta även om innehållet egentligen är ganska sorgligt! Det känns som om man har blivit lurad av varje chik-flik man sett under sin tonårstid;) Jag har altid trott att USA var datingens förlovade land, men ack! Du är så duktig och jag ska mailbomba GP med mitt beröm):) Jag reagerade också på bilden, din figur är jättefin, men den där peppiga looken är inte helt rätt:)

Kul att du tyckte om min helsida. Som alltid är det lite krångligt när man ska skanna in helsideartiklar. Men det funkade ganska bra ändå att klistra ihop bilderna efteråt.
Jag gillade din artikel, men erkänner också att de Amerikanska filmerna lurat en rejält. Det verkar som att dejtingvärlden i USA pretty much sucks. Ser fram emot att läsa din nästa artikel. Bara meddela mig om när nästa ska publiceras. Kramis!
